eGovernment Project

eGovernment is a technology based on web services used by public administration to communicate with citizens, other governments, business and non-governmental organizations, including its own employees in order to increase effectiveness and efficiency.

The Role of eGovernment

eGovernment makes the administration closer to citizens via the Internet. In our terms, eGov can be a solutions to accelerate transitional processes and contribute to the shift towards the knowledge-oriented society, by stimulating web access and usage of on-line services.

Project Goal

The goal of this project to promote the advantages of eGov directed towards the stakeholders, in the first line to the government employees and all other interested parties.

Specific Goals

  • Raising awareness on eGov introduction
  • Identification of obstacles for eGov implementation and their elimination
  • Inducing the need to connect governmental instruments online
  • Initiation of reforms in government and increase of efficiency
  • Support of research for the development of framework that would enable easy approach to services and information of public administration

  • Formation of eGov consultancy unit
  • Face to face consulting, online consulting and other means of support
  • Delivery of eGov services
  • Provision and distribution of information (eGov projects, eGov best practices, news, studies, eGov training...)
  • Promotional campaign

  • Seminars and workshops - gradual introduction to eGov principles
